Going down the slide! It was a good time.
Touching a tree for the first time. He, once again, took it very seriously.
Going on a daddy ride.
Watching the (horrific) St. Patrick's Day parade. Our downstairs neighbors, Mitch & Corrine, joked that it couldn't be worse than the New Ulm parade they happened upon; the New Ulm Heritage parade. They said it was just a few families walking down the road. Well, turns out the St. Patty's day parade is the exact same parade but the families all wear green. And there was one tractor (because it was green) and some creepy goblin-type things. But hey--we got out of the house.

I will no longer be posting videos on here as they seem to work for a day or two then stop working. Let me know if you want me to try some more, I have some cute ones.

Now for more pictures!

First time swinging! He was very serious and wouldn't smile.
Hiding a tiny grin
Typing an e-mail to Grandpa Ide
Go Brewers! (Onesie & hat from Gma Vilski)
Shopping at Target with the family!
Bread, cheese, & broccoli...the best meal ever.
FINALLY sleeping on the drive from Wisconsin to Minnesota.
We got home and there was this much less snow! And now it's all gone. Coen loves to crunch the old, dry leaves in his hand and pretend to eat the grass. He has found a few ants, too.

Aaah! I'm so behind!

Trying to see out the window at naptime. He's tricky...he looks awake and happy but really he's tired.
Having fun taking a "nap" at Grandpa & Grandma Vilski's house. He liked playing with the closet light switch.
Playing with Grandma Vilski...she has lots of cool toys.
Reading with Aunt Kelly!

I have been a slacker lately. But a busy one! Here are a few of the new things Coen has picked up in the last few weeks: crawling the correct way, clapping, and saying "mamamama" and "dadadada" occasionally to the right person.

Here are some pictures:

Around the Casa

A little of Justin's OCD showing through with his perfect spacing of the chicken & tots.
I think he's kissing, not trying to eat my face.
Yummy dinner.
Coen likes to pull out lots of the books then scoot away like it wasn't him. I kept blaming Justin for all the random book piles but then I set up a camera and caught him in the act. Almost.

Food & Walks

He likes to sit up to our table. Look at that pincer skill!
First walk of 2010! He couldn't see over the snow mounds but it was still entertaining for him.
Ready to roll!
It was a long walk and very relaxing.

Coen's Dresser

I got a little Better Homes & Gardens-y and decided to spice up Coen's dresser. We got it from a man who posted it on craigslist.com and now it matches his room!

Uh Oh

Coen has learned how to stand in his crib. Naptime just got that much crazier.

Sit to Stand

THE TOOTH

You can see his tooth poking through!
Happy to be in mom & dad's chair...
...but only until he saw the coaster looking so tasty.
Another tooth view!

Attempting to climb the blanket pile.
It didn't work the first time.
Trying a smaller pile again. With a huge smile on his face.
Yay, Coen!!!

Aunt Katrina & Uncle Matt's visit

At first Coen was very wary of Matt and screamed if he even looked his way, but after ac ouple of hours he was a new favorite.
Reading about sea creatures!
They had a book race to finish "Dear Mr. Henshaw". Katrina won.
Folding laundry! Coen thought Dad's boxers were funny.

End of February

Napping in the Fitness Center...he even sleeps through loud, booming professors and the clanging of weights.
Such fun toys there!
At home reading up on Dad's textbooks. Next stop was the remote control there. He can hang on to things with one hand and is getting the hang of falling backwards onto his booty.
He found his best friend the vacuum!!
