Week 37 Appointment

Today I'm 37 weeks and 4 days! I want to let everyone know that things are progressing well! Baby is head down, Dr. Dysart said he's a "good size", I'm almost 1 cm. dilated, and I'm off of my "unofficial" bedrest I was on last week. Good thing, too, I was going a little nuts.
I think I'm to the "just-get-him-out" stage now. Especially later in the day when it's muggy, my back hurts, and my fingers on both hands are tingly-numb. And when I can't sleep very well.
My guess is that he'll be born July 4th. Justin has no guess as of yet, but the longer he waits the better the advantage for him.

35 Weeks, 6 Days

At my last visit, Dr. Amy Rodriguez-Dysart told me that she was only 80% sure the little guy is head down. I've given up on telling which body part is which, but I still think it's his rear end that is in my ribs. I go back this Thursday for my weekly appointment...we'll see what has happened.

Justin & I rearranged some rooms to get ready. We haven't decided if he'll sleep in our room or the 2nd room. I'm just nervous he'll overheat in the 2nd bedroom because it doesn't have good air flow and we don't have central air. Maybe we'll all end up sleeping in the living room huddled around the wall air conditioning unit. All except Justin; he says "I'm from Wisconsin" and just sleeps in our room with the awful humidity and high temperatures. So far, though, this summer has been unseasonably cold (thanks be to God!) and not very humid.

How I feel some of the time. Oh, and I have a few tingly/numb fingers thanks to swelling and loosening joints. It makes playing the piano interesting.

34 Weeks!

My next doctors appointment is Thursday.

Almost Done w/ 31!

A nicer looking picture of this week. It was so warm today I got to wear a skirt! I also painted my toenails, which was WAY more difficult than I anticipated. Maybe next time Justin will have to be my pedicurist. Pedicurer?

Hiccups!

I put the remote on the top of my stomach so you can see his hiccups. I'm not sure how often babies normally get hiccups, but he gets them quite frequently!

Week 30!!

I'm three-quarters of the way done; maybe a little more, maybe a little less. Jessica has a lot of pictures from 28 and 29 weeks from when I was in Washington, but I don't have them to post.

Justin and I found an apartment in New Ulm. It's very homely and large for a 2 bedroom apartment.
